Our Legislators Should Know What We Know

This year, our state legislators failed to enact comprehensive healthcare reform. Michael Moore's new film Sicko gives a great opportunity to teach our legislators what we already know: our healthcare system is inefficient and unfair, and we demand change.

I urge all of Connecticut's state legislators to see Sicko before the beginning of next year's legislative session. I hope they will understand the urgent need for healthcare reform.

435 November 15, 2007 Faltoni Valentina studio city, CA I'm Italian (the second best country for health care) and i am studying in Rome law.
I do believe in justice but mostly i do believe in human right. your country is so low in the list for health care, is most likely a third world. i understand why is so easy for people to have easy loan (student loan etc.). good plan, gays. so they spend all their life running to make money to pay they're loan off and hospital and credit card and to start to make real money a lot of money because here everybody want to be billionaire and when their so busy they don't have time to see that their just working to make rich other big belly. you think Mussolini kill a lot of people don't worry all the world see how many people your dictatorian govern and legislators doing just denied PREVENTION and free assistance I'm not surprise if someone don't know what this means. i cry watching the documentary of Michael Moore like i cry watching old documentary in Italy about all people kill in the concentrament camp during fascism. but you now what the fascism was less cruel and make less victim.

I thanks god to be italian and I'm really said for American people.

Like catolic the only think i can do for all you is make a pray because all this people that let all this append they really need god help
434 November 14, 2007 Virginia Shultz-Charette Winsted, CT The problem is not that there are uninsured citizens, but that it is necessary to have insurance at all. Please watch Michael Moore's Sicko - I'm sure most of your constituents have since I purchased the last DVD at Target this past week!
None of this was new to me, since I worked at a company with divisions in Canada, England and France. The brainwashing that big business and politicians have pulled on the American public are finally being exposed. Pretty soon America will have to put up walls, not to keep illegal immigrants out, but to keep Americans in and that is the saddest commentary of all.
433 November 14, 2007 Deb Fox New London, CT I have and wow...I don't know the words to say. It's amazing that our country is so great but yet the most important thing is the worst in almost the world. We need to give health insurance to everyone! These babies shouldnt be dying because they are at the wrong hospital.

431 November 14, 2007 Jeanna Milner Jacksonville, FL I want you to see this and think about the golden rule. Treat people how you want to be treated! The statement made that you can tell the true strength of a country is by the way the weakest are treated.
